A TO Z FIRE began in the early 90’s with the goal of offering complete mobile fire equipment services and training to Pinellas & Hillsborough county residents. Throughout the past 30 years, we have expanded our footprint to provide fire equipment services to the entire state of Florida.
Our main goal has always been to provide professional and affordable fire extinguisher inspections, certifications & recharges; as well as offer NEW & reconditioned equipment to meet any business owner's budget.

A TO Z FIRE’s main goal is to provide peace of mind for business owners, managers, maintenance personnel and homeowners. When a fire inspector or an insurance compliance adjuster visits, they will know that by using A TO Z FIRE, their property will be code compliant. We are not like most companies. We make sure that when we are called to conduct an inspection of your facility or home, we will take our time to complete a thorough inspection of fire extinguishers, emergency & exit light, circuit breaker boxes, clear emergency paths with quick release exit doors, Life safety codes, NFPA 1 and lots more. We not only conduct a thorough inspection but we take the time to inform and educate our customers of any risk or violations we find.

MEET THE TEAM
Dan Freitag
President
Dan has been in the fire equipment industry since 1993 and is passionate about promoting fire safety awareness through hands-on demonstrations, lectures, and promotional videos. He is the creator of the fire extinguisher swap-out program now used by most fire equipment dealers, helping business owners save time and money while staying code compliant. Dan primarily operates out of A to Z Fire’s Asheville, North Carolina office and remains actively involved in day-to-day operations across all locations.
Tracy Freitag
Co-President
Tracy Freitag is the Co-President of A to Z Fire and has been Dan’s partner in safety for over 20 years. A former teacher of 25 years, Tracy has a strong passion for keeping families safe and businesses code compliant. She manages accounting, human resources, and daily operations for all offices, while also overseeing the day-to-day business operations of the Asheville, North Carolina location.

Liz Guillen
VIce President
Liz has been working with A to Z Fire for over 15 years and is a driving force behind the success of the Florida locations. She is passionate about helping customers stay informed on updated rules and regulations while also finding ways to save them time and money. Liz operates out of the Tampa office and plays a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting teams across Florida, and ensuring consistent service and compliance for customers statewide.

Don Gander
Apartment Service Manager
Don Gander has been with A to Z Fire for 20 years! Mr. Don Gander has been in the fire equipment industry since 2001. Don is A to Z Fire's most premier technician. He specializes in apartment communities' fire protection services. If you are a community manager you have probably worked with Don at one time or another. He works with community property managers and maintenance staff in helping them keep their property code compliant.
Arc Ocasio
Shop Manager
Arc handles all day to day operations of ensuring shop staff is rebuilding fire extinguishers, maintaining inventory, and handling walk-in customers in our Tampa office. Arc also trains all-new service technicians prior to heading to school.

Don Schroeder
Hood system suppression manager
Don has 30 years of experience with hood suppression systems, sprinklers systems, fire extinguishers & emergency lighting. He can install new systems, repair old systems, audit systems, and maintain systems. Don is here to help you stay code compliant!

Tim Nievinski
Pinellas Office Sales Associate
Tim is A to Z Fire's seasoned service technician at our Pinellas office. Tim is very strong in helping customers find ways to stay code compliant and meeting their budget concerns.
